I think it could be some problem related to drivers, but when I go to (Apple Icon), About this Mac it told me the right graphics card, Gigabyte 210 1024MB. What could I do to solve this problem?, when I browse in the internet it happens those glitches in my screen. Aug 30, 2018 I believe Metal support was added in NVIDIA’s Web Drivers a little while ago, but I wonder if that’ll be the stumbling block in seeing new beta drivers for these developer previews. My macbook pro 2008 has an nVidia GTM 8600. The driver I used was nvidia-173.

It kind of seems like the kernel cache is not 'sticking', as I'm able to boot up with nv_disable=1, rebuild the kernel cache (sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel & sudo kextcache -system-caches), reboot. This makes the 'black screen' bug go away, but only for a few restarts.
